The mission of Falun Dafa Club is to create an environment for members and interested community to freely practice the exercises and belief system of Falun Dafa on campus and to spread awareness about the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa in China by the Chinese Communist Party— educating about the history, culture, and current events surrounding Falun Dafa today. Additionally, the club strives to promote and preserve traditional values and culture.
purpose
Falun Dafa Club at Fei Tian College Middletown creates opportunities for the College community to learn and practice the exercises and belief system of Falun Dafa, to promote the traditional Chinese values Falun Dafa represents, and to spread awareness about the persecution of Falun Dafa in mainland China.
● Falun Dafa Club shall host three main functions: club meetings, events to spread awareness about human rights abuses in China, and cultural functions.
● Falun Dafa Club shall host club meetings for the purpose of demonstrating and teaching the four standing exercises and one sitting meditation of Falun Dafa, reading Zhuan Falun, the canonical text of Falun Dafa, and implementing future events. Falun Dafa Club shall host, sponsor, or co-sponsor events, panels, film screenings, etc. for the purpose of facilitating intellectually stimulating dialogues to raise awareness of human rights abuse and crimes against humanity towards Falun Dafa practitioners in mainland China.
● Falun Dafa Club shall host, sponsor, or co-sponsor cultural events for the purpose of promoting traditional common-held values.
